The plunger mud pump is used for ceramic mud high-pressure spray drying and pulverizing. The model of the spray drying tower is 10000, and the output is 30 tons of dry powder/hour. The spray pressure is 12 kg.

Pump usage:

The factory originally used three YB300-40 pumps, with two working simultaneously and one as backup. The YB300 plunger mud pump has parameters such as a flow rate of 40 cubic meters per hour, a high pressure of 20 kilograms, a working pressure of 12 kilograms, and a motor power of 30 kilowatts. Since the spray drying tower is large and has a large output, one YB300 plunger mud pump cannot meet the output demand, so the output can be met by using two sets of simultaneous operation. After half a year of operation, it was found that vulnerable parts were replaced frequently. The plunger seal is replaced once a month, the valve disc is replaced once every 15 days, the oil pump is replaced once every 6 months, and the valve core and seat are replaced once every two months. The heavy maintenance workload has a significant impact on normal production. After inspection and analysis by our technical personnel, it was found that the ceramic plunger diameter of the plunger mud pump is too small and the operating frequency is too fast. The plunger reciprocates 35 times per minute to reach the operating limit, and the valve core opens and closes frequently. The pressure is high, and the oil temperature is too high at 65 degrees Celsius. So it leads to frequent replacement of vulnerable parts. Suggest replacing with YB400-80.

Usage of YB400 plunger mud pump after replacement. YB400 parameters, flow rate of 80 cubic meters per hour, high pressure of 18 kilograms, operating pressure of 12 kilograms, motor power of 45 kilowatts. After replacing the pump, the plunger sprinted 21 times, reducing the number of thrusts by 14 times. The sealing ring replacement cycle is every 8 months. The valve core is a newly patented product, with a valve disc replacement cycle of 4 months and a valve core and seat service life of over 2 years.
