Material characteristics: After passing through a ball mill, the raw ore is mixed with sulfuric acid hydrogen peroxide water and stone slag to form a slurry containing sand particles, which has strong corrosiveness and is difficult for ordinary steel to withstand. The stirring of the material is high-temperature and high-pressure steam, and the temperature of the material can reach 75 degrees. All pipelines and valve materials are made of 316 stainless steel.

Usage of original centrifugal pump:

Six 800 square meter diaphragm filter presses are fed with centrifugal pumps driven by two high-power motors. One pump is in operation and the other is on standby, with a feed pressure of 6.5 kilograms. Due to changes in the old and new filter cloth and material concentration, the feed time of the centrifugal pump is between 30 minutes and 60 minutes. The initial flow rate gradually decreases from 200 cubic meters until the pump stops. Due to the special nature of the material, the centrifugal pump needs to be repaired once a week and overhauled every two weeks. The cost of replacing the impeller and pump casing machine seal during each overhaul is 8000-10000 yuan, which is 16000-20000 yuan per month. The annual usage cost is 200000 to 250000 yuan, and each repair requires more than two people. Sometimes, the repair requires four people to cooperate. Generally, the repair time takes three people. About an hour.

The situation of using ceramic plunger mud pump afterwards:

A YB400-120 ceramic plunger mud pump is used to feed six 800 square meter diaphragm filter presses. Set the pressure level to 6.5 kilograms. When starting to feed, the frequency of ceramic plunger operation is high. When the set pressure is reached, the frequency of ceramic plunger operation gradually decreases, that is, the motor speed slows down. The motor is more energy-efficient. According to the changes in the old and new filter cloth and material concentration, the feeding time is 30-60 minutes. The initial flow rate is 120 cubic meters and gradually decreases. Due to the characteristics of sand and strong corrosiveness of the material, the rubber valve plates and rubber seals in the four one-way valves of the plunger pump are greatly damaged. The four rubber valve plates are replaced once a month, and the rubber seals are replaced every 20 days, with a cost of 4000-5000 yuan per time. Therefore, the annual maintenance cost is about 60000 yuan. Each repair takes 1-2 hours for 1-2 people.

Comprehensive evaluation

When the feed working time of plunger pumps and centrifugal pumps is almost the same, the annual maintenance cost and maintenance time of plunger pumps are only one fourth of those of centrifugal pumps.
