Sludge plunger pump is a specialized pump equipment used in the field of sludge treatment, mainly for transporting sludge or slurry containing solid particles.

working principle
The sludge plunger pump sucks in and discharges liquid by reciprocating the plunger in the cylinder. When the plunger moves upward, the volume inside the pump chamber increases, the pressure decreases, and the material is sucked in; When the plunger moves downwards, the pump chamber volume decreases, the pressure increases, and the liquid is discharged, thereby achieving the transportation of sludge.

Product Features
High pressure wear-resistant: able to withstand high pressure, some pumps use wear-resistant materials such as ceramics as plungers, which can operate stably for a long time under high pressure and wear media.
Adjustable flow and pressure: divided into quantitative pumps and variable pumps, flow and pressure can be adjusted according to actual needs. Variable pumps can automatically adjust flow at different pressures to adapt to different working conditions.
Good adaptability: Suitable for transporting sludge with high concentration, high viscosity, and containing particles, it can meet the needs of different scenarios such as sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment.
Energy saving and efficient: Some pump models adopt energy-saving designs, such as hydraulic drive systems, which have lower energy consumption and higher efficiency compared to traditional pumps.
performance parameters
The performance parameters of different models of sludge plunger pumps vary. Taking the YB series of Xianyang Huaxing Pump Industry as an example, its rated flow rate can reach 60m ³/h, rated pressure 1.8MPA, stroke 350MM, and equipped with a motor of 18.5KW.
Application scenarios
Widely used in municipal sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, papermaking, printing and dyeing, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries, mainly used to transport sludge from treatment tanks, reaction tanks and other places to subsequent treatment equipment such as filter presses, providing guarantee for further treatment of sludge.
