This project involves the use of wastewater from a sand washing plant, which contains soil and non compliant fine sand. The amount of water required for sand washing is significant. The sewage undergoes three-stage sedimentation, the clean water is reused, and the sedimentation is treated using a plunger mud pump and filter press. The sludge at the bottom of the pool. The moisture content of the processed mud cake is about 20%. Continuous operation has been achieved, facilitating the stacking of sludge. Reducing sludge treatment pollution and costs, the treated water meets discharge standards and can be directly discharged or reused.
Two XYZM200-125 box type hydraulic automatic filter presses with a filtration area of 200 square meters and a feed pressure of 10 kilograms. Two YB250-30 plunger pumps with a flow rate of 30 cubic meters per hour, a high feed pressure of 15 kilograms, and a working pressure of 10 kilograms. The motor power is 22 kilowatts. One pump corresponds to one filter press feeding, and the filtration cycle is once every 30-40 minutes.
Comprehensive evaluation
The combination of plunger pump and filter press for treating sand washing sludge is currently a highly efficient and low-cost system. This system has the following characteristics: it uses fewer chemicals, the moisture content of the treated mud cake is low, and the treated water meets the standard for direct discharge.
