（1） Preparation work before startup

① Check the fastening condition of each component

② Check the oil level in the tank, with the oil level height based on the oil window markings on the tank. Use N46 hydraulic oil in summer and N32 hydraulic oil in winter. High pressure pumps and pumps above 140 should use the same type of anti-wear hydraulic oil.

③ Check the range of the pressure gauge. The hydraulic station pressure gauge should have a range of 0-16MPa, and the pressure gauge on the air tank should have a range of 0-6MPa and cannot be installed in reverse.

（2） Start up

① Turn on the cooling water.

② Close the switch, turn on the switch, press the start button, and check the direction of the motor. It should be clockwise and must not be reversed. After checking for accuracy, start the motor and oil pump.

（3） Operation adjustment

① Adjusting the overflow valve can regulate the oil pressure, which can adjust the mud pressure. The adjusted overflow valve should be backed with a locking nut, and the overflow valve should not be moved during each start-up and shutdown.

Explanation: The quantitative pump should be started at low load. If two pumps are used alternately, they can be stopped first and then started without adjusting the overflow valve.

② Adjust the position of the two collision wheels on the slide adjustment plate to adjust the plunger stroke.

③ When the plunger 20 and sealing ring 19 wear and leak slurry, adjust the pressure ring 18 appropriately until no slurry leaks. When the pressure ring is pressed to contact the packing box but still leaks slurry, a gasket can be added to the upper end of the sealing ring.

To ensure that the sealing ring is concentric with the plunger, the upper end face of the pressure ring should strive to be parallel to the upper end face of the packing box 10, and the unevenness should not exceed 0.5mm.

④ Adjustment when using variable displacement pump and filter press; The adjustment method is the same as the operation adjustment. When leaving the factory, the slurry delivery pressure of the pump is set to 2.0 MPa. If the required slurry delivery pressure is lower than 2.0 MPa, adjust the overflow valve counterclockwise to slow down the plunger operation and change the slurry delivery pressure to achieve the desired value.

（4） Shutdown

① Press the stop button to stop the pump

② Stop the cooling water.

③ Rinse the valve box with water.
